01The Society

A multistate co-operative, in its members' service since 1990.

New Satara Zilla Nagrik Multistate Multipurpose Co-op. Society Ltd. is a member-owned co-operative society headquartered at Chinchpokli, Mumbai, with branches across Maharashtra and Karnataka and a membership of more than one lakh. As an IRDAI-registered corporate agent, the Society distributes insurance the way it has always done business — through its own people, in its members' own language, with the Society answerable for every sale made in its name.

02What we distribute

Life, general and health insurance.

Products of the insurers with whom the Society holds arrangements under the IRDAI (Registration of Corporate Agents) Regulations, 2015. As a corporate agent the Society represents its partner insurers.

Life

Protecting a family's income

Term assurance, savings and annuity plans — cover chosen from a recorded understanding of the family's needs, not a target.

General

Motor, home, travel & accident

Private car and two-wheeler packages, personal accident, travel and shop covers — with renewals followed up before they lapse, not after.

Health

Hospital costs, met by a policy

Family health, top-up and critical illness plans — sold with the waiting periods and disclosure duties explained before the proposal, in plain words.

Every policy is issued by the insurer, and the premium is always paid to the insurer — never to the Society or its sellers.

03Partner insurers

The insurers we represent.

The Society holds arrangements with the following insurers under the IRDAI (Registration of Corporate Agents) Regulations, 2015.

Insurer names and logos are the trademarks of the respective insurers and are shown here to disclose the Society's registered distribution arrangements. Every policy is issued by the insurer concerned.

04Our sellers

Certified Point-of-Sale Persons.

Every seller is trained and examined under the IRDAI POSP framework. Members of the Society can join the field force and build an income serving their own community.

  • i.Mandatory training hours, completed and recorded.
  • ii.An examination, passed before a single policy is solicited.
  • iii.A certificate carrying a verification QR — anyone can scan it to confirm it is genuine and current.
05If something goes wrong

Grievances.

Raise any complaint about a sale made in the Society's name at your branch or in writing to the Grievance Officer at our head office (address below). If it is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the insurer concerned and to IRDAI's Bima Bharosa portal (bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in) or the IRDAI grievance call centre at 155255.
